What Happens After I Purchase a Pattern
Once you have purchased a pattern you will receive a secure link where you have 24 hours to download your items.
Because there are multiple files (Pattern, Instructions and Packaging) it will come to you as a Zip File.
If you are unsure about how to open a Zip File, follow these easy instructions:
Windows:
Once you have downloaded the file, it will either appear in the Downloads Folder of your computer/laptop or it may appear on the bottom of your screen if you are using Chrome.
Select the Zip file. It will likely open in either WinRAR, WinZip or whichever Zip File program has been installed on your computer/laptop.
Right-click the File labeled “OMAJ (pattern name)”
Select - Extract Files to Specific Folder
This will bring you to a pop-up window that allows you to choose a folder on your computer/laptop where you would like to save the documents. For example, you may have an area on your computer/laptop where you save all your PDF Sewing Patterns.
Once you have selected the area where you would like to save it, select “Okay”
Go to folder where you have saved the pattern and you will be able to access your instructions, pattern and packaging.
Mac:
Lucky you, MAC does all of the heavy lifting here. Once you download the Zip File, it unzips it for you so all you have to do is save it to your desired folder.
iPad:
Select to download the file.
Go to Files
Go to Downloads and you should see the zipped File labeled “OMAJ (pattern name)”
Click on the Zipped File and it will automatically unzip it converting it into a folder where you can access your instructions, pattern and packaging.
